About the Cabarrus Center

The Cabarrus Center was created to support the creation of new businesses and the growth of existing small businesses through free or low-cost educational and networking programs, mentor networks, capital access and events. The space, located at 57 Union Street in downtown Concord, is designed to deliver affordable, fully furnished work areas with amenities, meeting rooms and networking opportunities.

Flywheel is collaborating with the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation and an Entrepreneurship Council to design and lease approximately 20,000 square feet of meeting, office and coworking innovation space at the historic building, formerly the Cabarrus Savings Bank. Ideal for startups and early-stage entrepreneurs, flexible, short-term and affordable space use will generate a pipeline of inception stage and early stage companies. Rather than rental agreements, members of the innovation center will sign up for month-to-month membership plans ranging from office and coworking space use to occasional use of the workspace and meeting rooms.
