Partner Spotlight: Small Business Center at RCCC

Our primary focus at the Cabarrus Center is to support the creation of new businesses and the growth of existing small businesses through free or low-cost educational and networking programs, mentor networks, capital access and events. We will be doing this in collaboration with a dynamic group of partners and we are very excited to introduce you to all of them!

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our partners at the Small Business Center (SBC) at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College!

The SBC is at the heart of small business resources in Concord, Kannapolis, Salisbury and surrounding towns. The program focuses on providing high quality education and relevant, comprehensive assistance to local small businesses.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the SBC has been assisting existing businesses through their BRACE program, which stands for “Business Rebound as COVID-19 Evolves.” The program is assisting up to 50 small businesses in this program through one-on-one remote counseling, confidential coaching sessions, providing access to experts and coaches, and other free services.
